Common questions
How do I join a club?
Tap the invite link a member sent you. If the app is installed, it opens straight to the club. You can also tap Join with code on the Home screen and type the club's code.
Using Solo mode (Indie critic)? Clubs are hidden in Solo mode, so turn it off first in Settings › How you use it.
I'm getting a new phone. How do I keep my Ticket Stubs?
Your Ticket Stubs and pass-the-phone groups back up to your own iCloud. Sign in to the new phone with the same Apple ID and they come back.
You can also go to Settings › Backup, tap Save a backup file, and keep the file in Files, AirDrop it or email it to yourself. On the new phone, tap Restore from a file. Restoring only adds what's missing; it never erases anything.
For clubs, ask the club's owner to send you a new claim link (see the next question).
How do I get back into my club on a new phone?
Ask the club's owner to tap your name in the club's Members tab, choose Unclaim, then Create claim link and send it to you. Open the link on your new phone and your past ratings are yours again.
Why can't I see anyone's scores?
That's No peeking: in a club, a movie's scores stay hidden until everyone has rated it or said they didn't watch it, so everyone's first impression is their own. The club's owner can reveal a movie early, or turn No peeking off in the club's Settings.
In a pass-the-phone group, results show once everyone has rated, or when the host reveals them early.
How does taking turns work?
Turn on Rotating picks in a club's or group's Settings. Everyone picks one movie per round, in the order the owner sets. Skip for now keeps someone in and they pick later this round; Pass this round sits them out until the next one. Each round ends with a recap, and seasons end with a season wrap.
Someone in my club is causing problems.
The club's owner can remove a member from the Members tab. Anyone can tap a member and choose Block, which hides them on your phone.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings › Delete my data. It removes your name and ratings from every online club. Your Ticket Stubs and groups stay on your phone until you delete the app. See the privacy policy for details.
A club's owner can delete the whole club, and a group's host the whole group, at the bottom of its Settings tab.
Reporting a problem with a club
We can't see what's inside a club. If you're reporting one, include its ID (shown in Settings › Report a problem) and what happened. Illegal content is removed and reported as the law requires.
